SLAYER's KERRY KING To Offer Wristbands, Pieces Of Stage Pants
October 10, 2004KFK Industries, the clothing company created and owned by Kerry King of SLAYER, is undergoing some redevelopment as things gear up for new products to make their debut online as well as a host of Kerry's Guitar Abuse dates which will be taking place during this fall's Jägermeister Music Tour. A new Mailing List feature has been launched which gives visitors to the KFKweb site a very small taste of the new things to come as well as the opportunity to be one of the first people to be notified of the new site launch and product updates.
A brand-new posting from King at the site reads as follows: "Obviously, touring makes me go AWOL! Just a few quick notes from the Unholy Alliance Tour in Europe... Ozzfest was a blast although a hurricane cancelled our last show. Mother nature can be a pissed off bitch!
"On to business…
"The 2004 Jäger Tour starts at the end of October, and B.C. Rich wants me to do a shitload of Guitar Abuse appearances. So if you want to check one out, keep tabs on the site. I won't be AWOL like this again! (Blame it all on BLACK LABEL SOCIETY!!!)
"We've got some new designs in the works, including work shirts and hats soon after. Hopefully we'll have them out during the Jäger Tour. As always, you won't be disappointed.
"Now, about those fucking wristbands... Since I make them by hand, it takes time to put those fucks together! There's about 12 so far... that's it! I haven't decided if I'll make 100 or 200, but they've taken a cool new spin. Some of you might have heard about the 'Still Reigning' DVD? Well, each wristband will come with a piece of the pants I wore in that video, and on most of the God Hates Us All touring cycle! Signed and numbered to match the wristband it comes with. I think that makes the package cool as hell. Great collectible! With all the touring we're doing, I probably won't get to those until January. But if it's something you're into, keep checking because they might surface before that!
"Toasting you all with my Jäger held high... Bottom's up!"
